2008         

This I Believe, the Personal Philosophies of Remarkable Men & Women. Editor Dan Gediman & Casey Murrow, son of Edward R. Murrow, spoke. 

 

We published This We Believe from local essayists, available for $5 at The Library Shop, Handley Library and at The Winchester Book Gallery.

 

2007         

On Agate Hill by Lee Smith, who spoke in October.  A popular program was actress B. Smith who portrayed scenes from the book.

2006         

Wish You Well by David Baldacci, who was an extremely popular speaker. 

2005                   

the curious incident of the dog in the night time by Mark Haddon.  Many interesting programs on autism. 

2004         

Seabiscuit by Laura Hillebrand
Programs included a visit to the Charlestown Races and other activities. 

2003                   

Rocket Boys by Homer Hickam. who came because it was the community’s first one book program.  Programs included speech by local physician who grew up in the same community as Hickam.
